Resort Towels, Everything we need to know about it

Everything we need to know about Resort Towels

Beach towels are most commonly used by resorts, often located near natural beaches. To attract guests to their facilities, resorts must maintain a particular image of luxury and high-quality services. Most visitors to resorts are accustomed to a certain level of luxury and will not accept anything less.

To attract more and more guests, you need to serve them with the best of services and luxurious and big wholesale hotel towels. Resorts can meet their clients’ expectations by stocking their private beach or resort towels. When it comes to these towels, several resorts choose different colors. The way resorts care for their towels typically determines whether or not they are luxurious.

What is a Resort Towels?

For some people, it is still somehow unclear that the towels we use at a resort or hotel are entirely different from the ones we use at home in our daily routine. They are definitely more plush and soft, and anyone who has ever visited a resort will know that they are highly customized. A hotel supply store offers a variety of designs and fascinating borders that add to the appeal of the towels. The resort towels will be in the same color and will resemble a small towel family.

  1. Soft feel

During a vacation, who doesn’t like the feeling of being pampered or being relaxed? After a tiresome routine, resorts play an important part in the psychology of their guests, and they understand what a client needs. The hoteliers make sure that the guest’s visit turns out as enjoyable as possible in order to convert them into a retaining customers.

  • The material should be healthy for the skin

When it comes to the material of the resort towels, there are a variety of options available. Fabrics range from Egyptian Cotton to Turkish Cotton. The majority of resort towels are made of 100 percent pure cotton, which is both lightweight and absorbent. Towels that are a mix of cotton and polyester are also used at several resorts. If the resort is on a tight budget, then this is something which they will save their money from. A nice alternative is ring-spun cotton. The towel will have a silky and soft feel to it. Open End Cotton is a 100% cotton makeup that is also reasonable. The most popular material for resort towels is 100 percent cotton, which is highly absorbent, soft, and superior to blended materials. It dries quickly and is low in weight.

  • Be sure of the hygiene practice

A resort is a place for visitors from all over the world. Before your booking, someone has already used the room and the items that you are going to use. Laundry and sanitization systems are available in resorts and hotels. Before the next family arrives for their vacation, the linens, floor, and electrical items are all cleaned and sanitized. How can you ensure that items like towels are washed properly? Towels are one of those items that must be kept spotless because we use them to wipe our faces and clean our hands. The used towels must contain germ-carrying fibers that can cause serious diseases in people.

One thing to remember is to constantly read the reviews of the resort or hotel. Many times, things that are not mentioned on the website are discovered through real experiences left by people who have visited the place. On the resort’s website, go through the cleaning technique and the resort’s sanitary procedures. If you can’t find this information on their website, calling them and expressing your concerns is always a smart idea.

Resort Towels Weight

When you’re on vacation, especially at an exotic resort, you don’t want to be carrying heavy items in your hands. When visiting a resort with a pool and water games, people tend to use a lot of towels. You will not be able to carry your resort towel to the pool or anywhere else in the resort if it is too heavy. As a result, these tourist places must consider the weight of resort towels and may wish to invest in a lighter option.

Towels that are lightweight weigh nearly 5 pounds. to 10 lbs. each dozen, whereas the weight of a large towel reaches 15 lbs. reaching a weight of about 20 lbs. each dozen Wholesale medium weight

What’s RFID, How it works & Application

What's RFID, How it works & Application

We all have the experience to visit shopping mall and supermarket to purchase various types of goods. This is the most popular way to buy essential products like cloths, household and groceries etc. Why not ? Because it’s bring us the all necessary items at. Ace where we can choose from. But In this vast of facilities we feel so bored while the cashier scan the barcode or QR code one by one to calculate the grand total. As per marketing theory the babies are looking for chocolate and snacks in this scanning time and add extra expenses on third cash memo. This the time most of the customer doesn’t want to spend for nothing.

How it would be if all the goods are calculated at a time without spending any more time? Yeah!! that’s possible with RFID (Radio frequency identification) technology.

What’s RFID & how it works?

What's RFID, How it works & Application
What’s RFID, How it works & Application

Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a technology where the smart label or RFID tags store the digital data enclosed it and can be read via  radio wave. It’s detect the goods from any dimensions without place the code like barcode or QR code.

RFID belongs to a group of technologies referred to as Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC). AIDC methods automatically identify objects, collect data about them, and enter the data directly into computer systems with little or no human intervention. RFID methods utilize radio waves to accomplish this.
At a simple level, RFID systems consist of three components: an RFID tag or smart label, an RFID reader, and an antenna.
RFID tags contain an integrated circuit and an antenna, which are used to transmit data to the RFID reader (also called an interrogator).

The reader then converts the radio waves to a more usable form of data. Information collected from the tags is then transferred through a communications interface to a host computer system where the data can be stored in a database and analyzed later.

Before diving deep into the working of RFID, let’s explore the different components that it comprises.

The major part that RFID consists of are:

1. RFID tag
2. RFID reader

Describe about RFID Tag
An RFID tag consists of an embedded transmitter and a receiver. RFID component comprises two parts:

1. Integrated circuit: It’s used for storing and processing the information.
2. Antenna: It’s used to transmit and receive signals.

RFID tags also have non-volatile memory storage, which includes either programmable or fixed logic for sensor data and transmission.

Tags can be categorised by

Tags can becategorized as:
1. Passive: This tag remains dormant since it has no battery. It uses the reader’s signal energy to turn on the tag along with reflecting a signal back to the reader that carries the information.

2. Active: Active RFID tags have a battery in it that transmits signals periodically. These tags have a range of up to 100 meters due to the presence of a battery. Due to this, active tags are useful in location tracking applications.

3. Battery-assisted passive: These tags do contain a battery, but it doesn’t transmit signals periodically like that of active RFID tags.

The battery is used to turn the tag when it receives a signal, which enables all the energy from the reader’s signal to reflect

Application of RFID

This is very advanced technology that can be used in various industries to track down easily any goods or item. Here are a discussed about a few industry for and it’s advantage.

Agriculture

  • Livestock tracking
  • Exact food for exact animal
  • Routine health check-up
  • Measuring annual growth

Garment industry

  • Production management
  • Shipment chain

  • Easy to find customers price range at a time.

Supply chain management

  • Find out the manufacturer and it’s receiver destination
  • The desired good is correct or wrong?
  • The goods correct warehouse before shipment.
  • The correct ship for shipment.

Conclusion

RFID is a technology which can be used to handle huge number of content at a time whatever it’s is a large storage with minimum man power. In that case the store manager should have adept with this technology as well.  Please write down in comments below what you think about this technology?

Terms of fabric Manufacturing and GSM Calculation

Fabric can be made from interlacement, interlooping , intertwining  or bonding of two , one or multiple threads or fibers with specified dimensional stability that can be transformed to apparel or Garments. we are gonna discussing about GSM as wall.

There are three major methods of mechanically manipulating yarn into fabrics

  1. Interlacement or Interwevaing
  2. Interlooping
  3. Intertwining

Interlacement or Interwevaing :-

Two distinct  sets of yarns one is called warp yarn and another is called weft yarn  are interlaced with each other and produced fabric by loom which is called woven fabric. The lengthwise yarns are called warp and  The crosswise yarns are called  weft. Weft yarns are also known as filling yarns or threads

Interlooping :-

Interlooping consists of forming yarn (one set yarn such as warp or weft) into loops, each of which is only released after a succeeding loop has been formed  and intermeshed with it so that a secure ground loop structure is achieved . knit fabric is produced by Interlooping

Intertwining :-

Intertwining and twisting includes a number of methods such as braiding and knotting where yarns are caused to intertwine with each other at right angles or some other angle

Nonwoven

The planner substance which can be made from bonding fibers with specific dimensional stability that can be transformed to apparel

What is GSM ?

It is the metric measurement of the weight of a fabric. The Elaborate form of GSM is grams per square meter. it is also known as (gm/m2). Some clothing items are still marked in Imperial weights OZ or oz/yd2. OZ or oz/yd2 means ounces per yard squared

We can measure GSM  by using following steps without GSM Cutter :

  •  Cut 5 pieces of fabric.  (The length and the width of all fabric pieces should be like 12 cm)
  • Measure the weight of all fabric pieces. (suppose 1.8gm, 2gm, 1.85gm, 1.90gm, 1.95gm)
  • Then calculate average  weight such as

(1.8+2+1.85+1.90+1.95)/5 =1.95 gm

  • Calculate the fabric sample area

Length * width = 12 * 12 = 144 cm2

Now apply this formula

GSM = (Weight of the samplein Gram*10000)/Area of Sample in cm2

        = ( 1.9*10000)/144

        = 131.94

Comments :

Fabric weight depends on GSM .

Relation between GSM & OZ :

5.5oz x 33.906 = 186.48gsm

185gsm / 33.906 = 5.45oz

This is very important to understand the variations of fabric weight

What is band knife

What is band knife, Feature image

What are we going to discuss about Band Knife:

  • What is band knife?
  • Brief discussion.
  • Feature .
  • Advantage.
  • Disadvantage.
  • Conclusion

Depending on cutting facility and cutting purpose the cutting operation complete by various way. There are too many cutting process used in garments industry, but today I’m going to discuss about band knife machine and its process. Which is used to cut mostly small pieces of garments specially lingerie item. Band knife work with an endless flexible knife like a loop.

Band knife is round flexible functional by three or more than three pulley are powered by a high RPM (revolutions per minute) electric motor. Based on material properties; the speed of knife can be adjust by machine operator. Small pieces of garments can be easily cut by band knife without making any technical fault in pieces. Operator required to push the fabric lay through the knife to complete the cutting operation. Depending the operator expertise garments pieces can be cut with 100% accuracy.

What is garment Tech Pack or Spec

What-is-garment-Tech-Pack-or-Spec

Tech pack is an important sheet or paper where the designer create tech pack by illustration with all necessary information to make the desire product. It’s also known as spec by relevant people. This is like a contract paper for buyer and manufacturer, where they put all necessary information how they want that garments and send it to the responsible merchandiser. The buyer place all those information how they want that garments. Buyer send tech pack or spec separately for each and every garments.  Now in single sentence we can say that is tech pack is an instruction paper for making garment.

What is include in tech pack?

Tech pack is all about design, garment measurement and direction; how the garment need to produce.

  • Technical sketch of garments (Back, Front, Sleeve, neck, Hemp, and all required projection).
  • Garment’s proper image with measurement point.
  • Fabric Construction details (fabric type, fiber type, fiber percentage).
  • List of fabric, trims, materials, color, grading (Material source or supplier if required).
  • Size chart and ratio breakdown.
  • Artwork for prints, embroideries, patterns, labels, etc.
  • Packaging instruction.
  • Label dimension, fabrication, placement, text size and description.

How tech pack reduce time consumption in production industry?

Before place a production order to a garments manufacturer by buyer need a pre-production sample (PP Sample) as they can acquaint the production ability of any factory. Without any tech pack or special instruction none of any company can makes sample perfectly. They’ll have to make more and more PP sample and submit to the buyer for approval. It’ll take so much time to make exact sample which buyer looking for. In that case too much time required to approve one sample by buyer, time in money in production industry. If Sample department follow buyers tech pack or spec than may be they’ll be able to make desire sample on time and reduce the consumption of time which is way to save money.

Why garments manufacturer does required tech pack?

Tech pack indicate the way to produce the garment, in that case you’ll find the almost each and every essential information to complete garments production on that particular style or design. Designer build a strong communication with manufacturer how the garments need to complete.

Merchandiser working on tech pack with pattern.

Merchandiser working on tech pack with pattern.

How do you make a tech pack?

Most of the time designer used Adobe Illustrator software to make design or dedicated garments design software. Some time they follow some design template which can be downloaded from internet. If you want to make this kind of design you may follow any kind of methods to do your own design. Personally I use Adobe illustrator software which used most of the designing or advertisement media. Illustrator makes vector file so you would be able to print your design large size if you want.

Problem of Tech Pack

When any designer create a particular garments design; Designer doesn’t have much idea about pattern & marker making. In that case sometime designer need to amend the design by discussing with technical team as per save consumption of fabric.
